"Understanding
our Similarities through Religious Belief"
My name is Carolin Boeck and I'm fifteen years old. First I thought:
"Wow, what a great topic," but then I noticed the main point of
your topic and the problems I might have with it. You have to know: I was
not christened and I don't know very much about all these religions, but
now I think it's not a very big problem, because in my opinion everybody
has his own opinion and everybody should have the chance to say or write
that down.
So let's start!
I think for many people their religion is the only thing they can still
hold onto. For example when there is death or illness like cancer in the
family. For those people their religion is the only way to be able to cope
with that or/ and to forget those blows. They think if they worship to god
or believe in god, he will help them to cope with their problems. But I
don't think that god, if he really lives or if he really is somewhere,
helps them, but only their belief in god and in their religion.
Moreover, there are a few people who are really convinced of their
religion; for example they worship every morning and evening to god or
something like that. And I think that's exaggerated. I think you can have
a religious belief without exaggeration in that way. In my opinion those
people who exaggerate in that specific way do not have a very good
self-confidence. They don't really know that they alone have to take their
life into their own hands. And that's one of the biggest problems: You
don't know how to believe in god or in your religion without exaggeration
but in order to get help. And I think that is one thing everybody has to
decide on his own.
But there aren't only the general religions. Compared with the little
ones, there are also the four world religions: Christianity, Buddhism, the
Jews and the Muslims. I think these religions are one of the reasons of
wars. In my opinion there wouldn't be so many wars if we didn't have any
religions. Because every member of a religion is really convinced of his
religion and keeps his own opinion on this topic "wars in the
world", but I think there would always be wars, if they didn't accept
the other religions and they didn't find a solution. That's my opinion to
that specific but great topic!

Similarities through Religious Belief
My name is Silke, and I would like to write something to your topic!! I' m not a very religious person, because I don' t believe in a "God"! But I celebrate Christmas, I know, that's crazy, but my mom sings in a choir of a church, which is run by a very good friend of her. The choir is Protestant, but our family is catholic. That' s crazy, too, I know!! I think, all humans are the same! So everybody has to accept everybody, and I think, that everybody has the right to live a free life. It would be a very great world, if all different nations and peoples would be friends and so there wouldn't be war anymore. I don' t know much about the different religions, but perhaps you can tell my something about them!!!

I am Mohaddese.I am Moslem. I will describe something about believing in God to you.
If we believe in God we always hope to succeed in doing what we want to do. Because we believe that there is One who can do all thing and help us. When I have problems that others can not solve them , God helps me if I really want .
God is much greater than a human. Because if He is like a human He will not be able to do so many great works. And He isn't solid .We can't see many thing such as intellect and love among people, we just can feel the effect of them for example we do all thing according to our intellect, we can't say we don't have intellect .We can't see God too, because he isn't solid .If He is solid He will disappear after some times and it is very crazy that God disappear. He isn't in the sky, I believe He is in every where even in your heart.
This world is where God examines us .When we die, we don’t die really, we come back to another world, so that God punishes and rewards us for all things we did.
The biggest God's help to me is my self-reliance.
Now I will write few things about my religion.
The Arabic word "Islam" means "submission," and it derives from a word meaning "peace." In a religious context it means complete submission to the will of God. "Allah" is the Arabic name for God, which is used by Arab Muslims and Christians alike.
In Islam God set some basis and lows (for example justice and unification) in "Koran".
In all our actions we mustn't forget the basis, we must behave according to them.
For example: when we judge among people we must remember
God 's orders about justice So we mustn't judge unlawful. Another one is giving a part of our property to poor people. We must give 1/5 of our properties which we needn’t them.
We have choice control and authority in our life, we do all thing, but according to those basis.
We must know that we can't offend other country unlawfully. So this cause peace in world.
In fact all religions are one religion, but during the time they were changed.
